* All waste MUST be in Township waste bags (clear/pink). Regular size bags can be purchased for $2.00 each. Larger bags for commercial use ONLY can be purchased at the Township office ONLY. For a list of places where regular township bags can be purchased click here.
** All vehicles must STOP at the gate at waste sites. Attendants must inspect all waste entering the sites. If recyclables are found in township identified waste bags, (pink and/or clear), attendants will refuse the waste until the recyclables are removed.
*** Waste must not be deposited at the gate or along the roadsides, Violators and trespassers will be investigated, charged and prosecuted.
**** All recyclable materials must be kept separate and deposited by residents into the proper recycle bins. Do not contaminate bins.
***** Household Hazardous Waste items are not accepted at any of the sites. The Township of Stone Mills will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Day every other year where these items will be accepted and disposed of properly. For more information please click here. ***NO LARGE UNRECYCLABLE, UNBAGGED WASTE ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY WASTE SITE IN THE TOWNSHIP OF STONE MILLS

REMEMBER: IT IS IMPORTANT TO RECYCLE SO OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN DON’T HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT WE DO TODAY.

> Used bulk oil can be returned to the business where purchased if it is in an original container.
> Small Used batteries can be returned to Radio Shack, Canadian Tire, etc.
> Large used car batteries can be taken to National or Fort Battery
> Used eye glasses can be turned in to any Lions Club for recycling/reuse
> Full/half full cans of paint can be donated to Habitat For Humanity, Reuse Store Bath Rd., Kingston
> Recycling Printer Cartridges
