ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To help ensure public safety, fencing is required around swimming pools in the Township of Stone Mills.  By-law 2007-374 provides for specific fencing requirements and can be found on the Council Bylaws page or by clicking on the following link

Certain By-laws may have an impact on a building or structure that you are proposing for your property. An example of this is a By-law that requires fencing around a swimming pool and should be considered during the planning stages of such a project.

The Zoning By-law dictates setbacks from property lines and other structures and will have an impact on the placement of a building on a parcel of land. Please refer to the Planning page of this website.
