The Township of Stone Mills would like to advise residents of an error on the 2026 final tax bills that are scheduled to be mailed on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Due to a printing error, all tax bills indicate that the account is enrolled in preauthorized payments. Please note that this statement does not apply to all property owners.

Only property tax accounts that are currently enrolled in the Township’s preauthorized payment program will be subject to automatic withdrawals. If you are not enrolled in the program, your tax bill must be paid using one of the Township’s regular payment methods by the applicable due dates shown on your bill.

We apologize for any confusion this error may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Based on current conditions, the Forest Fire Hazard Index has been set to MODERATE. If you are burning, do so with caution and ensure you are following the open-air burning by-law.

Canada Day Closure Notice – July 1, 2026

Please be advised that the Township of Stone Mills Municipal Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in observance of Canada Day.

Please also note:

Pickleball programming will not run on July 1, 2026.
All landfill locations will be closed on July 1, 2026.
