The mandate of the Township of Stone Mills Development Services Department is to help protect the public and the environment by ensuring that all new construction is done to required standards.   

We review permit applications, issue permits, and conduct inspections in accordance with the Ontario Building Code, the Township Zoning By-law and other legislation. We also perform preliminary reviews of building projects, and provide Building Code information to the public, committees and other agencies.
