Based on current conditions, the Forest Fire Hazard Index has be set to HIGH. If you are burning do so with caution and ensure you are following the open air burning by-law.
Effective Friday August 8th at 0800 a Total Fire Ban is in effect. This means that all open-air burning, including campfires and outdoor fireplaces are prohibited. Failure to comply with the Fire Ban may result in fines. We will continue to evaluate conditions daily.
