New E-Billing Option Lets Your Property Tax Bills Get Sent by Email

The Township of Stone Mills now offers an E-Billing option that lets you receive your property tax bill directly to your email. No paper, no postal delays, no mail to keep track of.

How to sign up
Your next paper tax bill will include everything you need to enroll, including your 19‑digit roll number and a new PIN code. Use these to complete the transition to E-Billing. Visit our website for an easy how to tutorial.

How it works
Once you sign up, your future Interim and Final tax bills will be emailed to you at least 21 days before the first instalment due date, as required under the Municipal Act.

If your email address changes, you will need to update your profile to ensure your information is updated.

Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse a taxpayer from the responsibility for payment nor relieve the liability of penalty for late payment.

Be aware of fraudulent emails
The Township will never request payment over the phone or through an emailed link. If you receive a message that seems unusual, contact the Township directly using the phone number found on the website before opening any attachments or links. Do not reply to the email or call any phone numbers listed in the email that do not match the Township's phone number on the website.
