PUBLIC NOTICE

Amendment to Procedure By-law 2024-1264

In accordance with the Township of Stone Mills Public Notice Policy, Notice is hereby provided that the Council for the Corporation of the Township of Stone Mills intends to consider the adoption of an amendment to By-law 2024-1264, A By-law to Provide Rules Governing the Order and Procedures of the Council and Committees of the Township of Stone Mills at their Regular Council meeting, scheduled for Monday, October 6, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.

The details for the amendment to By-law 2024-1264 are as follows,

• Moving Council meeting dates to the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

Should Council adopt the By-law to amend By-law 2024-1264, Council meetings, beginning in January 2026, will occur on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

If you would like to provide comment on the change to meeting dates, written comments can be submitted to clerk@stonemills.com or dropped off at the municipal offices, located at 4504 County Rd. 4 Centreville, ON by Monday, October 6, 2025 at 3:00p.m. 

Individuals can also speak to Council on this matter at the October 6, 2025 meeting, by submitting a request to appear as a delegate. Forms are available online and will need to be submitted by noon the Wednesday prior to the meeting. Individuals can also speak under the Open Forum section of the agenda.
