Civic Long Weekend Closures

The following will be closed on Monday, August 3 for the Civic Holiday:

Stone Mills Municipal Office
Roads and Public Works garage
Stone Mills Recreation Centre

For Village of Newburgh residents, curbside garbage collection has been rescheduled for Tuesday August 4th.
In case of a municipal emergency, call the Roads and Public Works emergency line at 613-378-1435. 

Our offices will re-open on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:30 a.m.

Forest Fire Hazard Index Lowered to MODERATE

Based on current conditions, the Forest Fire Hazard Index has been lowered to MODERATE. If you are burning, do so with caution and ensure you are following the open-air burning by-law.

The Township of Stone Mills is pleased to advise that the final commissioning of
the Flynn Bridge replacement has been completed, and the bridge is now reopened to traffic.

Thank you to residents, motorists, contractors, and project partners for your patience
and cooperation throughout the replacement project.

Please continue to drive with care as traffic patterns return to normal in the area.
