Save the Date: Septic Awareness Week Runs September 14–18, 2026
The Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA) is hosting a Septic Awareness Week, taking place September 14-18, 2026. This national awareness initiative is designed to educate septic system owners and users about proper system care, maintenance, environmental stewardship, and septic access safety.
As part of this initiative, OOWA will be hosting online sessions to provide practical insights, maintenance tips, and expert guidance to help participants care for their systems and learn best practices for protecting nearby water sources.
