Significant Weather Event – Update 12:00pm February 18, 2025

 The Township of Stone Mills remains under Significant Weather Event declaration in response to the recent     snowstorms, with significant snow accumulation over the last several days.

• Snowfall has ended but we are experiencing drifting in some areas.
• Crews are continuing to maintain roads in an effort to keep all roads clear and passable. 
• Road conditions within the Township are considered good with the exception of potential drifting areas.
• Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution.
• Sidewalks normally maintained may be snow and ice covered. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of    these conditions while walking.
• Please refrain from on street parking as much as possible to allow municipal crews to remove the snow.
• Please be patient and cautious as snow removal operations will be ongoing over the next several days.
