Significant Weather Event Warning

Environment Canada has issued a storm alert for our area, set to begin in the afternoon on February 12, 2025. Together with the County of Lennox and Addington, staff will be monitoring the forecast and weather conditions for the possibility of declaring a Significant Weather Event.

Please remember that winter parking restrictions are in place on local roads from December 1 to April 15th (Township By-law 2005-316). This restriction is in effect regardless of weather conditions.

As per County By-law, no parking is allowed on county roads between December 1 and March 31st from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., regardless of the weather.

Any vehicle parked that is interfering with snow removal activities can not only be ticketed, but could be towed at the owner's expense, as stated in the Highway Traffic Act, Ontario.
