Special Event Permit Applications
Warm weather means event season is here — and with it, an increase in Special Event Permit requests.
If you are planning an event in the Township of Stone Mills with attendance of 250 or more people, you are required to apply for a Special Event Permit under By-law 2019-965. The Township’s Special Event By-law is designed to help Event Organizers and businesses plan safe, successful events while minimizing risks to the Township and residents. Organizers are required to submit a complete application to the Township.
Event organizers are also encouraged to explore the Government of Canada’s funding programs for the culture, history and sport sectors, which includes a list of available funding opportunities that may support eligible events, festivals and community initiatives. canada.ca
