Township of Stone Mills Dump Truck Engine Donated to NDSS Auto Shop Class

On October 15, 2025, Township of Stone Mills Public Works staff members Nate Maleska and Dave Soudant delivered a Cummins L9 engine and mobile stand to Napanee District Secondary School . The donation of the engine to the school's automotive technology program was made possible by Kingston's Rush Truck Centre with the mobile stand being fabricated by the very skilled Dave Soudant. 

Nate Maleska, Fleet Supervisor has mentored 15 co-op students through his employment at Stone Mills and hopes the donation will provide students with an opportunity to enhance their hands-on-learning that may translate into future automotive skilled trade careers.
