Public Consultation - Open House - Yarker Riverside Park Conceptual Plan(s)

We are excited to share news about the proposed redevelopment plans for Yarker Riverside Park. In collaboration with Landscape Architect Brendan McKee and insights from Quinte Conservation, we've crafted several new concepts to enhance our beloved park while respecting its natural settings.

We have developed three feasible park concepts that creatively and sustainably enhance our community space which were presented to Council through a Staff Report on May 5, 2025. Here’s how you can help shape the future of Yarker Riverside Park:

2. Join the Public Consultation - Open House: You're invited to our Public Consultation - Open House on May 27th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Yarker Riverside Park. This is an excellent opportunity to see presentations of the plans, ask questions, and provide your valuable feedback.

3. Provide Feedback: After reviewing the concepts and attending the session, please share your opinions. Your feedback is crucial and will guide us in selecting and refining the most favored design approach to ensure it meets the community's needs and aspirations.

We encourage all residents to participate in this key part of the planning process. Your insights will directly inform the Township's Council, influencing the final recommendations and implementation strategies for our park's redevelopment, including a detailed analysis of associated costs.
