The Accessibility Plan covers the steps the Stone Mills Township will take to prevent and remove barriers to accessibility.

The Asset Management Plan informs long-term budget planning for capital infrastructure renewal.

Development Charges (DC) are one-time fees imposed by the Municipality from developers, home builders and institutions when they develop or build on land. The fees are intended to offset the cost of increased municipal services and infrastructure required due to growth in the municipality. These charges are based on a Background Study prepared in accordance with the Development Charges Act  (Development Charges Act).

Treasurer's Statements

The Development Charges Act requires the Treasurer of the municipality to annually provide Council a statement about each Reserve Fund established under the Act.  The statement reflects the opening and closing balances of each year, the current year's distribution of the DC proceeds, any financing transfers and the interest earned on the fund.

The Industrial Community Improvement Plan is a planning and economic development tool that sets out a framework to assist in community revitalization, and assists to achieve economic, community planning, and urban development goals. 

The Official Plan dictates what kinds of development can take place in the Township of Stone Mills, and where they can happen. The plan takes into account social and economic needs, the fiscal ability of the Township, the environment, and natural resources

The Quinte Region Drought Plan provides vital information on cash flow planning for preparing for low water conditions in the future. 

Stone Mills Township's Strategic Plan acts as a road map for Council and staff to deliver on community priorities during the current term of Council and for the long term future.

Land Evaluation and Area Review (LEAR) Study

The County of Lennox and Addington together with the Township of Stone Mills, Loyalist Township and the Town of Greater Napanee are conducting a comprehensive Land Evaluation and Area Review (LEAR) study. The Township of Addington Highlands does not have any prime agricultural lands.

This study aims to assess and identify prime agricultural land use designations within the County. The County has retained J.L.Richards and Colville Consulting to undertake the completion of this work. J.L.Richards is a professional planning firm with experience conducting many LEAR studies throughout Ontario, and  Colville Consulting provides expertise and knowledge involving agriculture and the natural environment. A Land Evaluation and Area Review (LEAR), a provincially supported methodology, is proposed to be used.
