Beaver Lake Swim Program

Beaver Lake Swim Program

The independently run program is located at the Neville’s Point Public Beach and employs Red Cross certified Instructors and Lifeguards.

July through August (8-weeks) to educate participants with Swim to Survive program skills.  Children must be at least 5 years of age as of the first day of the swimming lessons.

Since 2014, Council has granted the swim program exclusive use of the beach access during these times to ensure a safe and focused environment for all participants. We kindly ask non-participating visitors to explore other lakeside locations or enjoy the boat launch area at Neville Point Park for swimming.

Alternative Locations:

• Beaver Lake/Tamworth Lions Park - 5783 County Rd 41
• Centennial Park/Varty Lake - 638 Park Rd

We appreciate your understanding and support in making this program a success for our community swimmers. Thank you for cooperating and making way for the amazing swim program! Your convenience and enjoyment are always our priority.
