Kayak Rental Pilot Program

Starting August 19, 2025 Township of Stone Mills will be implementing a Kayak Rental Program, located at the beautiful Centennial Park on Varty Lake. A community-focused pilot program offering daily kayak rentals to encourage outdoor recreation and promote enjoyment of one of our local Lakes. This pilot program is expected to be a six week program, running Monday thru Friday from August 19 to September 26, 2025. 

Whether you're an experienced paddler or trying kayaking for the first time, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and support a new community initiative.

Rental Details: 

• Six (6) single kayaks will be available to rent.
• The cost to rent a kayak is a flat rate of $25.00 a day and the kayaks are available for use between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

The rental of a kayak, includes

• Kayak and Paddle 
• Lifejacket 
• Boat Safety Kit 

Anyone renting a kayak will be required to complete a Kayak rental form and waiver.

If you are interested in renting a kayak, please call the office at 613-378-2475 to inquire about availability or stop by the Centreville Municipal Office located at 4504 County Rd. 4. Rentals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
